We are thrilled to have you join us today, welcome to ValiantCEO Magazine’s exclusive interview! Let’s start off with a little introduction. Tell our readers a bit about yourself and your company.

Chase Norlin: I am Chase Norlin, the CEO of Transmosis, a nationally recognized cyber security workforce developer, and we’re on a mission to empower American workers to embark on new careers in the rapidly growing information security industry. Our flagship product, eSure.AI, is a cutting-edge cybersecurity platform that not only safeguards consumers and small businesses from cyber threats but also offers integrated financial liability protection.

Before my role at Transmosis, I had the privilege of founding and leading Emerge Digital Group, which earned the distinction of being the 8th fastest-growing company in America in terms of revenue growth. My journey as a serial technology entrepreneur began with pioneering endeavors, such as creating the internet’s very first online video sharing platform, a groundbreaking video search engine, and an innovative photo sharing service.

My experiences and the insights I’ve gained along the way have fueled my passion for technology and entrepreneurship, driving me to continually innovate and make a positive impact in the world of cybersecurity and career development.

In the past year, what is the greatest business achievement you’d like to celebrate with your team? Please share the details of that success.

Chase Norlin: Building the most comprehensive cyber insurance protection solution for consumers on the market today without raising millions of venture capital!

What advice do you wish you had received when you started your business journey and what do you intend on improving in the next quarter?

Chase Norlin: Steve Jobs and Elon Musk were right, you need to be really passionate about what you’re doing in order to persist throught he hard times. In entrepreneurship, staying alive is half the battle!

Here is a two-fold question: What is the book that influenced you the most and how? Please share some life lessons you learned. Now what book have you gifted the most and why?

Chase Norlin: The book that’s influenced me the most and that I also gift the most would be Peney Peirce’s “Leap of Perception: The Transforming Power of Your Attention”. It’s important as it details how powerful your Attention is and to be perceptive of where you place that attention, as when you give attention to something (or someone), you give it power.

Business s all about overcoming obstacles and creating opportunities for growth. What do you see as THE real challenge right now?

Chase Norlin: As with most startup technology companies, the real challenge is now developing the infrastructure to scale up the business without significantly raising your costs. Equally challenging is getting our new eSure.AI product in front of millions of consumers and home users who don’t yet realize how vulnerable they are to attack and need cyber insurance to protect them.

In your experience, what tends to be the most underestimated part of running a company? Can you share an example?

Chase Norlin: Never underestimate how long things take; it always takes longer than you think to do something new and innovative. This is true in marketing, product development, sales, talent acquisition, and every aspect of running a business.

What does “success” in 2023 mean to you? It could be on a personal or business level, please share your vision.

Chase Norlin: Success is helping others protect themselves from financial devastation, and it feels good to sell a product that really helps people.
